L'international Horror Guild Award a été créé en 1995, et récompense les textes d'horreur et de Dark Fantasy. Il était décerné par un jury. Il a apparemment cessé ses activités en 2008 après l'annonce des prix 2007. Les prix de l'année N sont attribués entre mars et septembre de l'année N+1 et récompensent des oeuvres parues durant l'année N.
